(January 9, 2017) – Well-respected concert and venues industry publication Pollstar Magazine released its annual Top 200 year-end rankings this week and AEG Facilities’ KFC Yum! Center is ranked 30th in the nation and 59th in the world for ticket sales by venue, having sold nearly 300,000 tickets*. The venue outpaced several arenas in neighboring cities including Rupp Arena (Lexington, KY), U.S. Bank Arena (Cincinnati, OH) and Bankers Life Fieldhouse (Indianapolis, IN). AEG Facilities, the KFC Yum! Center’s management group, owns, operates or is affiliated with 23 of the top 100 arenas worldwide, including the No. 1 ranked The O2 in London.

Dennis Petrullo, General Manager of the KFC Yum! Center, said he is proud that the KFC Yum! Center and the fans in Louisville have enticed A-List performers to return to the KFC Yum! Center with each new tour. “In 2016, we hosted 130 events, including four of the top 10 tours in the world and nine sold out shows. Bruce Springsteen, Carrie Underwood and Justin Bieber each returned to packed houses, showing just how passionate local fans are about great entertainment. We look forward to continuing to provide memorable concert, family and sporting events in 2017.”

The KFC Yum! Center has already booked several artists for 2017, including Twenty One Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eric Church, Bruno Mars and others that are yet to be announced.
