ASM Global Venues Bring New Entertainment Options to Thunder Over Louisville
Louisville, KY (March 22, 2023) – As Thunder Over Louisville returns to the Louisville Waterfront with one of the nation’s top air shows and fireworks displays Saturday, April 22, ASM Global-managed venues — the KFC Yum! Center and Lynn Family Stadium — offer new ways to entertain fans.
Louisville's premier waterfront entertainment venue, the KFC Yum! Center, is adding a new event - FUN-DER Rabbit Hole Lounge Party. The 21 and up event is located inside the arena’s exclusive Rabbit Hole Lounge and offers breathtaking indoor panoramic views of the fireworks and air shows, a DJ and silent disco, hors d'oeuvres, a Rabbit Hole bourbon tasting, fully-stocked cash bar, comfortable lounge seating and more. Tickets are on sale now through Monday, April 17 or until the event sells out. The arena's popular Spirit Room FUN-DER Viewing Party returns to the arena's top-floor Spirit Room and offers a VIP experience for Thunder guests of all ages.
Lynn Family Stadium's highly successful official Kentucky Derby Festival Thunder Over Louisville event returns with a variety of entertainment and tailgating options planned throughout the day. Attendees can expect a jam-packed day of fun for all ages as the full schedule of events includes interactive inflatables, balloon artists, a magician, DJ music and much more.
Tickets to Thunder at Lynn Family Stadium — an official Kentucky Derby Festival event — start at just $25 and are on sale now at seatgeek.com and will be available at the Lynn Family Stadium box office beginning at 11:30 am on Saturday, April 22. Lynn Family Stadium guests will receive a wristband allowing reentry to the building. Event tickets also include access to restrooms, and the stadium’s full array of food and beverage offerings are expected to be on sale.
Lynn Family Stadium lots open for parking and tailgating at 7 a.m.; stadium gates open at noon; and there’s no hurry to beat the traffic after the show with doors closing at midnight.
