Louisville, KY (June 13, 2023) – The KFC Yum! Center’s commitment to strengthen community outreach continues as the arena’s cornerstone partner, Norton Healthcare, is sponsoring 200 local youth from underserved Louisville communities at two complimentary basketball camps in June.

The KFC Yum! Center Basketball Camp Presented by Norton Sports Health includes two one-day camps Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18. During the camps, participants will receive instruction from experienced coaching staff including former University of Louisville favorites Peyton Siva and Mykasa Robinson along with other local players and coaches. The camp is geared for boys and girls, ages 8-14, and emphasizes individual instruction in all phases of the game. In addition to learning skills on the court, the camp teaches the campers valuable life skills, mindfulness and invites several speakers from the local community who will mentor the attendees throughout the camp. Registration for the camp is full and additional campers cannot be accommodated.

Media are invited to attend the camp on Saturday, June 17 to get footage of the participants and interviews with the coaches and Norton Sports Health staff. Interviews are available at 12:00 pm with Peyton Siva and Mykasa Robinson and at 12:30 pm with Norton Sports Health Director Tiff Haub. Media are invited to get footage of participants on the KFC Yum! Center practice court immediately following the interviews.
